Refund Policy

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

We offer 14-day change-of-mind returns on unused items in original packaging. Faulty or incorrect items are covered under Australian Consumer Law and are eligible for a refund, replacement, or repair.

 

YOUR RIGHTS UNDER AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Under Australian Consumer Law, you have automatic consumer guarantees when you purchase goods or services. These guarantees cannot be excluded and apply in addition to any warranties we may offer. If we fail to meet these consumer guarantees, you are entitled to a remedy.

 

Major Failures: If there is a major failure with a product (e.g., the product is significantly different from the description, is substantially unfit for its common purpose, or has a problem that would have stopped you from buying it if you had known about it), you can choose to:

- Return the product for a refund, or

- Keep the product and seek compensation for the reduction in value

Minor Failures: If the failure is minor, we can choose to provide a free repair, replacement, or refund. We will let you know within a reasonable time whether we will provide a refund, replacement, or repair.

 

CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS

In addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, we accept change of mind returns under the following conditions:

Eligibility Period: Items may be returned within 14 days of purchase.

Condition Requirements: To be eligible for a change of mind return, items must be:

- Unused and unassembled

- In original condition with all tags attached

- In original packaging (including outer bags, product boxes, and all accessories)

- Accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)

Exceptions: The following items cannot be returned for change of mind:

- Custom-made items

- Clearance items

- Items marked as "Final Sale"

These items may still be returned if they have a fault or defect under Australian Consumer Law.

 

RETURN PROCESS

Before Returning: Please email us at support@yeehaabox.com before sending any items back. Include:

- Your order number

- Reason for return

- Photos (if the item is faulty or damaged)

This helps us process your return or exchange more quickly.

Packaging Your Return: Include in your return package:

- A copy of your invoice or order confirmation

- A brief note explaining the reason for return

Ensure all items are securely packaged to avoid damage during transit.

Return Shipping: For change of mind returns:

- You are responsible for all return shipping costs

- We recommend using a tracked and insured courier service

- You bear the risk of loss or damage during return transit

For faulty or defective items:

- We will cover return shipping costs once the fault is verified

- Contact us before returning for instructions

REFUNDS

Processing Time: Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will:

- Email you to confirm we've received your return

- Process your refund within 48-72 hours if approved

- Issue the refund to your original payment method

Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.

Refund Amount:
For faulty or defective items covered under Australian Consumer Law, you will receive:

- A full refund including original shipping costs

- Reimbursement for reasonable return shipping costs

For change of mind returns:

- A refund of the purchase price only

- Original shipping costs are non-refundable

- Return shipping costs are your responsibility

Damaged or Incorrect Items:
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:

- Contact us immediately at support@yeehaabox.com with your order number and photos

- We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you

- We will cover all associated shipping costs

EXCHANGES

We accept exchanges for faulty items or if you received the wrong item. For change of mind exchanges:

- You are responsible for return shipping costs

- You are responsible for shipping costs for the replacement item

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

If you haven't received your refund after the timeframes mentioned above:

- Check your bank account again

- Contact your credit card company (it may take some time for the refund to be officially posted)

- Contact your bank

- If you've done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at support@yeehaabox.com
